  • Before you can apply to dissolve your civil partnership (in England and Wales) you must have been in your civil partnership for at least a year.
  • If you are the person who starts the dissolution you are referred to as The Applicant.  Your partner will be referred to as The Respondent.
  • There are a number of legal processes to which you must comply including providing your original partnership certificate or a certified copy.
  • Along with the one-to-one advice, we will complete all the necessary paperwork on your behalf for the preparation of the dissolution, the filing of the civil partnership dissolution application and the acknowledgement of service.
