In the news today it is being reported that Cheryl Cole has married for a second time. It was confirmed that she married her boyfriend Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini earlier this month in a secret ceremony in Mustique.
Cheryl revealed the news via her website saying, “I usually do not discuss my personal life but to stop the speculation I want to share my happy news. Jean-Bernard and I married on 7/7/14. We are very happy and excited to move forward with our lives together.”
Cheryl famously divorced Ashley Cole in 2010 following a string of stories of his infidelity. The details of their settlement were not made public but were believed to have been reached amicably following negotiations between them and their solicitors.
The question now is whether or not Cheryl and Jean-Bernard decided to sign a pre-nuptial agreement. Cheryl is said to be worth around £12 million. Jean-Bernard has made his money running luxury restaurants and nightclubs. Given that their relationship so far has been over just three months a pre-nuptial agreement would seem wise but perhaps not in keeping with the couple’s whirlwind romance!
