At Higgins Miller, we endeavour to keep our clients happy and safe. Most of the time, that relates to their legal status, but in these exceptional circumstances, we are now having to consider the health of our clients and our staff.

As family lawyers, care is at the heart of everything that we do. The UK is now in a state of lockdown in order to combat the spread of COVID-19. This has led us to making the decision to close the office doors, but our services remain very much available.

The office is closed for the time being. We will re-open as soon as allowed.

Solicitors are working from home. Please email the solicitor who is dealing with you case directly. A list of the email addresses is below. If you do not know which solicitor is dealing with your case or you have a new or general enquiry please email [email protected]

Mark Higgins: [email protected]

Sarah Miller: [email protected]

John Gluchowski: [email protected]

Lucy Eatough: [email protected]

Claire Anstee: [email protected]

Georgina Howe: [email protected]

Emails sent to any other email addresses will not be read until the office re-opens. Anything delivered to the office in person or via post will not be read until the office re-opens

If your enquiry is urgent please call on 0161 429 7251 or email us at [email protected]. If your call is not answered please leave a message with your name and number.

If you have a court hearing approaching we will let you know what the arrangements for that are. Please make sure that we have your up to date phone number and email address.

We ask for your understanding during this period if your queries take a little longer to be answered. Please be assured that we will still be available for you during normal office hours, but ringing the office phone will not get you through to your lawyer. Please email them directly to speak with your representative.

The government’s recommendations change daily and we encourage you to follow the latest advice, which can always be found at

We hope you and your loved ones stay well during this period. We are continuing to work and provide the support which we know is so important for so many of you.
