Nigella Lawson and her Husband, Charles Saatchi, are to divorce following photographs of him with his hands around her throat.
Mr Saatchi was criticised in the media over the photographs and accepted a police caution in relation to the assault.
In an article in the Mail on Sunday Mr Saatchi says that he commenced proceedings for divorce after feeling let down by his wife who he says failed to defend him over the photographs.
